Levels of Search Services
Retained searches are the highest priority searches and are typically reserved for our clients’ higher level, complex, confidential search assignments.
The retainer allows us to commit our resources to filling your position. Our executive headhunters are able to thoroughly research the market to identify your competitor’s top performers. The retainer ensures that we are able to interview, prescreen and qualify candidates exclusively for your search assignment and your search assignment alone.
In order to retain our services, allowing us to commit our resources to your assignment, we require a non-refundable payment of one-third of the estimated fee. The balance of the fee is payable once the candidate commences employment.
For our clients who require priority, but may not have the complex, higher level position to be filled, we offer a Contained Search. The container, typically a non-refundable payment of 10 to 20 percent of the projected fee, allows us to prioritize our time and resources to the successful completion of your search assignment. The container payment ensures your search’s priority and confidentiality while establishing credibility.
In addition to our retained and contained searches, the professional recruiters at Action Management can also handle any of your contingent search needs. Our contingency fees are payable only if you employ a candidate that has been, directly or indirectly, referred to you through our efforts.
There are times when you may not be able or want to hire a person but could utilize a contracted or leased employee. The reasons for this need could be many including:
- Regardless of the reason, Action Management's professional recruiters are capable of locating the proper talent with the right skills to help you through these situations. The contracted or leased employee may workout so well that you may want to consider hiring them full time. Action Management will work with you in those instances in converting the person to a full time employee.
- Rates and conversion fees are done on an individualized case-by-case basis.
